Overview English
Tegenungan Waterfall is one of the most popular and accessible waterfalls in Bali. Unlike most of Bali's waterfalls, which are located in the northern highlands, Tegenungan is situated in the lowlands of Gianyar, making it an easy trip from both Ubud and southern Bali.
The waterfall features a powerful cascade, especially during the rainy season. The area is well-developed with facilities including restaurants, lockers, and numerous constructed photo spots. Visitors must descend approximately 168 paved steps to reach the base of the falls.
While the pool at the bottom is inviting, visitors should exercise caution if swimming, particularly when the current is strong. Due to its accessibility and fame, the site gets very crowded from mid-morning onwards.
